Soudal – BACKING is a silicate fiber-based, heat-insulating backfilling wool developed for firestop backing in penetrations and joints. Replaces hard firestop wool behind sealants. Also suitable for high-temperature applications such as ovens and flues.

Very soft composition, replaces hard fire wool in penetrations
Easy and quick to pack into structures
Suitable for sealing flue connections
