Product details
Pipe casings are delivered to the construction site as pre-cut boards, which makes the assembly of the casings quick and easy. The boards have pre-formed folding lines, so no cutting is needed on-site, and the casing walls remain firmly in place. When the sewer and water pipes are installed side by side inside the pipe casing, they form a heat exchanger, which can even halve the required installation depth of the pipes. The casings are filled with installation sand, which adds thermal mass inside the casing.
The two smallest pipe casings (160×130 mm and 220×210 mm) are made from 70 mm thick FINNFOAM. The 500×285 mm casing is usually made from 50 mm thick FINNFOAM, but it can also be custom-ordered in 70 mm thickness. The largest casing, 1000×585 mm, is manufactured from 100 mm thick FINNFOAM boards.
One package provides 5 meters of ready-to-install pipe casing (applies to sizes: 160×130 mm, 220×210 mm, and 500×285 mm).
