Check valve HELA

Manual domestic water shut-off valves for DN10–50 mm pipes, suitable for cold water, ground source heat pump, and hot water systems. Operating temperature range: 0°C to +80°C (glycol in ground source circuits: –20°C to +80°C).
HELA check valves 342 and 4125, as well as dirt separator 9415, are also suitable for hot domestic water and ground source heating circuits. Heat resistance: 80°C continuous. The opening pressure of the check valves is at least 0.2 bar, which means they may not be suitable for gravity-fed systems.
When installing check valves (342 and 4125), it is recommended to ensure a straight pipe section of more than 150 mm before a bend or T-junction. Installing a bend or T-junction immediately after the check valve may cause backflow and lead to the “resonance” of the check valve disc.
Check valves can be installed in either horizontal or vertical pipe runs.
