Shrinkable coupling for connecting a plastic land drainage pipe to a concrete pipe.
The coupling is installed over the spigot end of a concrete or cast-iron pipe together with a rubber gasket and secured evenly by heating until the coupling shrinks tightly into place. Heating is carried out using a hot-air blower or a gas flame with a yellow color. A blue flame may damage the plastic.
