Installation pad for heavy elements.
Installation pads made of polycarbonate come with thickness markings and have been tested with a load of 10,000 kg under the guidance of Acqua Plastica in standardized conditions at Tampere University of Technology’s Department of Materials Science.
“In summary, it can be stated that three tested supports of different thicknesses (5, 8, and 10 mm) withstood a load of 10,000 kg under standard conditions (22 °C) when the compression limit was 10%. Temperature changes affect compression and should be considered in strength calculations, especially at elevated operating temperatures.”
