Air barrier tape Sitko ECO 50 mm × 40 m

Sitko ECO ecological air barrier tape is developed for greener building. The only completely plastic-free tape on the market for sealing seams, joints and penetrations of air- and vapor barrier membranes. The core/backing is paper with no plastic. The paper surface is treated with a thin silicone coating making it water-repellent, moisture resistant and preventing the tape from sticking to itself in the roll. The adhesive is a polyacrylic glue with excellent adhesion and ageing resistance, the same as used in other quality Sitko tapes, making it durable. Unlike other vapor- and air-barrier tapes, it has no separate release liner, enabling easy and quick hand application or use with an ordinary tape dispenser, and no waste is produced during installation. The non-stretch, durable construction has no separate reinforcing mesh. Easy and quick to install. Easily torn off. For interior use only. Not for exterior sealing of wind barrier membranes. Not suitable for wet spaces.
