Window sealing tape Sitko Connect PL 80 mm × 25 m

Sitko Connect PL is a four-layer laminated moisture equalizing hygromembrane tape. The tape’s diffusion resistance varies according to surrounding humidity. The idea behind the moisture equalizing tape is to prevent water vapor from condensing within structures, regardless of diffusion direction. One product provides both an internal air- and vapor barrier and an external weather barrier for new and renovation construction. Rainwater resistance up to 1050 Pa, corresponding to wind speeds of 130 km/h. The tape ensures optimal tightness, preventing warm indoor air from escaping through joints. Particularly suited for sealing window and door frames in wood, log, CLT, concrete and block constructions, preventing warm interior air from leaking into uninsulated spaces. Sitko Connect PL can be applied before or after installation of the window. Also widely used in other constructions such as floor and wall joints. The fiber cloth side enables finishing like plastering. The tape is extremely flexible and durable, enabling it to withstand structural movement.
