RoofProof is a lightweight and economical condensation-protected underlay. The cost-conscious builder’s choice. When price is the key purchase factor, RoofProof offers at minimum the same features as many pricier competitor underlays. Its support structure is a mesh woven from HDPE tape. The underlay is coated with a polyethene plastic that withstands moisture, UV radiation and temperature differences. For the proper performance of lightweight underlays, careful installation is crucial: prevent sagging and carefully detail penetrations. As with other condensation-protected underlays, the nonwoven fabric on the underside of RoofProof binds condensation moisture and prevents it from dripping into the roof structure and attic insulation. Condensed moisture in RoofProof is carried away by ventilation. Despite being inexpensive the RoofProof underlay is free of lime or additives that would degrade quality or lifetime. Made of polypropylene (PP) fabric and polyethylene (PE). The material is recyclable. Waterproof warranty: 10 years. Expected service life: 20 years.
