The ductile cast iron drilling valve cartridge shuts off the water flow in the pipe during drilling and connection work.
The glass fiber reinforced POM cartridge is sealed with O-rings made of EPDM rubber approved for drinking water applications.
The POM cover is equipped with an NBR seal that seals the drilling valve once the connection has been completed.
Maximum tightness is achieved with two O-ring seals against the drilling valve and two profiled O-ring seals against the shut-off plate.
Epoxy coated in accordance with DIN 3476 Part 1 and EN 14901.
Internal hole diameter max. Ø40 mm (depending on thread size).
