Ventilation unit Vallox 245

The MyVallox 245 CFi ventilation unit is suitable for large detached houses (with a floor area of up to 400 m²) and for commercial premises (schools, daycare centres, offices). It enables automated ventilation: in addition to an internal humidity sensor, the Vallox 245 MV features a built‑in carbon dioxide sensor. With these sensors, ventilation is automatically boosted and returned to normal operation according to changes in indoor air humidity and carbon dioxide levels. An optional VOC sensor reacts to indoor VOC concentrations (Volatile Organic Compounds) and likewise boosts ventilation as required. Thanks to automation, ventilation operates on demand and is therefore as energy‑efficient as possible.
MyVallox 245 CFi is controlled using the MyVallox Touch or MyVallox Control controller, via the home network or the free cloud service – for example with a mobile phone. Via the Modbus RTU interface, the ventilation unit can also be connected to a building automation system, providing statistics for property management. Update packages for a unit registered in the free MyVallox Cloud service are downloaded automatically, and Vallox technical support can remotely access the unit in problem situations with the user’s permission.
MyVallox 245 CFi is a true energy saver. Its specific fan power is only 0.7 kWh/m³/s, meaning it consumes very little energy to exchange air. In addition, its annual efficiency is high, allowing the heat recovery system to transfer heat from the exhaust air to the supply air more effectively than before. The coolness of summer nights can be utilised thanks to the unit’s automatic heat recovery bypass with cool recovery. Partial bypass of heat recovery keeps the supply air stable and comfortable throughout the year.
The unit also features a new constant airflow function that increases living comfort and facilitates installation. Thanks to the constant airflow fans, the MyVallox 245 CFi ventilation unit can compensate for pressure differences and keep airflows balanced in windy locations, in tall buildings, during defrosting of the heat recovery cell and regardless of the heat recovery bypass mode. The constant airflow feature also compensates for separate exhausts. The new constant airflow function also makes the installer’s work easier, as airflow rates can be adjusted in litres directly from the controller.
